10 Holiday Cocktail Recipes to Feature at Your Next Festive Party
Your next holiday-themed party in Baton Rouge is right around the corner, which brings a variety of holiday cocktail recipes. One of our favorite things about the South is how the parties and get-togethers never run dry. Whether you are hosting or attending, good drinks are a staple at any event. This time of year in the capital city brings delicious flavors not just in our food. You'd be surprised at what adding a few dashes of cinnamon and cranberry to your drink can do for the taste. Incorporating festive flavors into your holiday beverages is one way to really amp up your parties this season.
We found 10 holiday cocktail recipes you don't want to skip out on trying. We even added some non-alcoholic options too. Who doesn't love a good mocktail?
1. Christmas Punch
WellPlated shared their recipe for the ultimate Christmas party punch, and it has fun written all over it. When it comes to party prep, having items in bulk always makes things easier and that includes your drink options. This big bowl of Christmas punch will bring your guests back for another cup. Sip easily on this cranberry juice concoction mixed with sparkling wine, dark rum, apple cider, and ginger ale.
2. Whoville’s Spiced-Up Christmas Margarita
Half Baked Harvest took two of our favorite Christmas things, and put them together— “The Grinch” and margaritas. Enjoy this drink as a cocktail or a mocktail. While this margarita will spice up your holiday season with its hand-picked ingredients, it is just as spicy without the alcohol. Grab your favorite margarita glasses, and have a very merry (and spicy) Christmas.

3. Gingerbread Martini
Regular, festive, espresso-- We don't have a favorite when it comes to martinis. We only ask that you keep them coming. This festive holiday drink from Aubrey’s Kitchen adds a tasty yet elegant touch to cozy nights inside when it’s cold out. You’ll need vodka, Irish cream, gingerbread syrup, milk or cream, and a night off to relax. For the rim and garnish, spice things up with a gingerbread cookie crust around your glass. Aubrey’s Kitchen suggests dipping your martini glass rim in gingerbread syrup and then dipping it in crushed graham crackers.
4. Amazingly Good Eggnog
We know eggnog is one of those drinks where you either love it or simply cannot stand it. If you are one of those people who haven't been sold on the idea yet, we may have found a recipe that will change your mind. Already a lover of eggnog?
