5 Places Around BR Hosting New Year's Eve Parties
We still can't fathom that 2025 is nearly a day away. As we all look to create new goals for ourselves, try new things, and reflect on the things 2024 brought, make sure to plan an unforgettable New Year's Eve. Some of our favorite local places are hosting parties to help you ring in the new year. We chose a few options depending on your vibe—maybe you want something low-key, or maybe you're looking to pop champagne bottles the moment the clock strikes midnight.
However you want to welcome 2025, one of these parties is bound to be a good fit.
Pelican to Mars' Party at Pelican
@ 2678 Government St., Baton Rouge, LA.
If you've enjoyed Pelican to Mars' Sippin' Santa, this is the last night to taste their festive menu. The beachy Christmas-themed popup is the sister bar to the Miracle pop-up hosted at The Station Sports Bar and Grill. The tiki-inspired idea originated in 2015 in none other than New York City.
Envision Santa on a surfboard instead of a sleigh, replace the classic pine tree with palms decked with ornaments, and hang hibiscus garlands alongside tinsel—in essence, that is the Sippin’ Santa spirit. -- Beachbum Berry's Sippin' Santa
Sushi Ike and Chef Matty Slaps are providing the food for the evening. Their holiday hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Soji's New Year's Eve Wine Dinner
@ 5050 Government St., Baton Rouge, LA.
Ring in the New Year at Soji's 6-Course Wine Dinner. The event is ticketed and sold out, so hopefully, you got your tickets in advance! Show up at 6:30 p.m. for six curated courses, wines perfectly paired with each course, and complimentary champagne for the entire meal.

Ivar's is always down to party. They are open all day on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Watch the LSU game @ 2:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve with $16 game day buckets. They also have $10 bottles of champagne for your toast at midnight.
The Brake's Bar New Year's Eve
@ 5412 Government St., Baton Rouge, LA.
Did you know that Spoke and Hub has a hidden bar out back? The Brake's Bar is their "hidden gem" behind the popular spot. They are opening at 4 p.m. New Year's Eve, and recommend getting there early to grab a good spot.
