Our Favorite Places to See Christmas Lights Around Baton Rouge
Driving down a street lit up by different colored lights and inflatables swaying in the wind is a special feeling during the holidays. We don't know about you, but there is definitely something nostalgic about looking at Christmas lights. Lucky for us, the capital city offers many light display options. And, there are also great residential streets decorated for the season. Many residents go all out for the holidays, covering their yards with inflatable Santas, reindeer, gingerbread men, and elves. See which places are near you, and plan your visit for this weekend.

If you don't mind driving a bit, there are light displays all around Baton Rouge and surrounding cities. Central has two different locations where you can see Christmas lights-- One is on the corner of Hooper and Sullivan Rd. by the Tractor Supply and another on Hooper in between Joor and Sullivan.
Many neighborhoods in Denham Springs are home to residents going above and beyond during the holidays. A few include the Messenger’s Christmas Land, The Willow’s Winter Wonderland, and Christmas Lights at The Strouds.
A few locations a bit further, but definitely worth the drive, are in New Orleans. The iconic Celebration in the Oaks at City Park brings in people from all over looking to enjoy the holiday light displays. Another picturesque place is The Roosevelt New Orleans, which packs an incredible holiday drink menu at its bar along with holiday decorations worth seeing.
