Oh, what fun it is to go to a Baton Rouge Christmas-themed pop-up bar. The Miracle pop-up bar is bringing quite the party to The Station Sports Bar and Grill for its 5th year. Holiday festivities are in full swing around the city, and this year, it is bigger and better than before. The Station is hosting the Miracle on Bennington pop-up again this year with themed drinks, decked halls, and nightly events all month.

The Miracle pop-up has hit four different locations in Louisiana-- New Orleans, Lafayette, Hammond, and Baton Rouge. First appearing in New Orleans in 2019, the holiday pop-up bar has continued to come back to the south. It made its first Baton Rouge debut at The Station Sports Bar and Grill and is back this year for more. Its sister pop-up bar, Sippin' Santa, is currently hosted by Pelican to Mars.

This year, you can find a Miracle pop-up at The Station Sports Bar and Grill in Baton Rouge, One Thirteen Restaurant in Hammond, Pamplona Tapas Bar and Restaurant in Lafayette, and Barrel Proof in New Orleans.

From NYC to Baton Rouge and Beyond

This Christmas pop-up bar originated in NYC’s East Village in 2014 by owner Greg Boehm. The concept received such an incredible turnout that the next year it expanded to four more locations. And the bar didn’t limit itself to domestic locations. In 2016, the pop-up went abroad to Greece, Montreal, and Paris, with pop-ups now being held in Canada, Europe, Asia, and Central America.

“When I first launched Miracle on 9th Street, I had no expectations more than that it would be fun,” owner Boehm said in a recent interview with Forbes. “Three days into the first Miracle season, we knew we had landed on something big that really resonated with people.”

This year marks Miracle's 10th anniversary.

Sip the Holidays Away

A big part of the Miracle on Bennington experience is the themed cocktails. This year, the pop-up introduced over 13 drinks to its Christmas menu, along with signature cocktails and shots.

Their Christmas Miracle menu includes drinks like the ‘Christmasaurus’ which has pineapple rum, mezcal, velvet falernum, apricot liqueur, lime, coconut milk, toasted cumin, coffee, and pineapple syrup with aromatic bitters.

The ‘Christmapolitan’ (adorable name) has vodka, elderflower, dry vermouth, spiced cranberry sauce, lime, rosemary, and absinthe mist in a Miracle-themed glass.

The menu includes other festive additions like the Snowball Old-Fashioned, the Stocking Stuffer, the Crooked Antler, the Santa Slide, and many others. Click here for their full cocktail menu for the holiday season.
