Every great restaurant, hotel, bar, event venue, and tourism destination has someone behind the scenes making it all happen. More often than not, it's a woman leading with passion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to hospitality.

This August, the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation is inviting the Baton Rouge community to help recognize those leaders by nominating an outstanding woman in hospitality and joining the celebration at the Gold Medal HERoes Luncheon.

Held on Wednesday, August 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge, the annual luncheon honors women who have made a lasting impact on Louisiana's hospitality industry while raising critical funds for hospitality professionals in need.

Whether you know a restaurant owner, chef, bartender, hotel manager, event professional, server, or hospitality leader who consistently goes above and beyond, now is the time to shine a spotlight on her. The Gold Medal HERoes program exists to celebrate the women who strengthen our industry every day, often without seeking recognition.

In addition to honoring this year's nominees, guests will enjoy an elegant four course luncheon with curated wine pairings while supporting the Baton Rouge Crisis Grant Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance to hospitality workers facing unexpected hardships.

Hospitality has always been about taking care of people, and this event is an opportunity for the industry to take care of its own.

Individual tickets are $50, or gather your coworkers, friends, or leadership team and reserve a table of eight for $500. Whether you're attending to support a nominee, network with industry professionals, or simply give back to Louisiana's hospitality community, your participation directly supports the Foundation's mission.
