If wandering through rows of local vendors with a snack in hand sounds like your kind of weekend, Baton Rouge has three days to make it happen.

The 2026 Spooktacular Craft and Vendor Market is happening Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23, bringing a weekend of shopping, local makers and plenty of treats to 12323 Old Hammond Highway in Baton Rouge.

The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day, giving you plenty of time to stop by whether you're looking for a Friday afternoon outing, something to do with the family Saturday or a little Sunday shopping.

Expect to browse a variety of crafts, handmade goods and unique finds from independent vendors. It's the kind of market where you can go in "just to look" and leave with a new favorite find while discovering local makers you may not have come across before.

And we can't talk about a Baton Rouge event without talking about the food.

Specialty food vendors are also part of the weekend, with everything from baked goods and candies to jams, sauces, honey, snacks and drinks available while you shop. Come hungry, because there's a good chance you'll find something to take home and something you'll want to eat before you ever make it back to the car.

With three full days to explore, the Spooktacular Market is also an easy way to support small and independent businesses while making a weekend outing out of it. Bring a friend, bring the family or make it your excuse for a little solo shopping.

Even better? Admission is free.
